Horse Weigh Ambassador Harry Meade set to make history at Badminton Horse Trials 2024, after all horses on the wait list are accepted.
Now with three horses confirmed entry for the prestigious event in May, Harry could be the first rider to pilot 3 horses around the course in the same year since the long format, where it was first done by Australia’s Bill Roycroft in 1965.
Until this year, riders have been limited to starting on two horses under the waiting list system. This years new rule stipulates that third horses will only be accepted once everyone on the waiting list has been offered a chance to run. Third horses will then be accepted in order of FEI points, which Away Cruising was top of.
